Step 1: To align, click the “…” menu against the goal

Step 2: In the drop-down, select Align to a Parent Goal

Step 3: Select the parent goal you want to align your goal to.

How to view aligned goals

Bottom-up alignment view

Immediately after you create an alignment, you will start seeing a tree icon. By clicking on it you will see your current goal aligned with the parent goal. You can also see who owns the parent goal and which team or org the parent goal belongs to

Top-down alignment view

When you look from the parent goal’s perspective, expanding the goal will display all aligned child goals.

In the image above, the first arrow shows the parent goal, second and third arrow shows the child goals.

Clearing or Un-aligning a goal alignment

Step 1: Click on the menu against the goal “…” and select change parent goal from the drop-down.

Step 2: Select change parent goal from the drop-down

Step 3: Click on pick parent goal if you want to change your goal or click clear if you want to un-align your parent goal
